| During the course of World War I the Austro-Hungarian government constructed military cemeteries throughout Galicia. The cemetery in Zakliczyn was one of these cemeteries; however, it was unique in that it was the sole location that contained only the remains of fallen Jewish members of the Habsburg military forces. | ||
